Join for a meditative evening of German art song in the intimate Recital Salon. This program invites audiences into the intimate and expressive world of German Lieder where poetry and music come together to illuminate the joys, sorrows, passions, and mysteries of the human experience.

Featuring masterworks by Brahms, Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, Schubert, Schumann, and Wagner, this program features one of classical music’s richest and most beloved traditions. Visitors to the Blacksburg campus Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. will need to display a parking permit, utilize the ParkMobile app, pay the daily charge for a pass, or pay for parking using an hourly meter. All campus parking, including along Alumni Mall, requires a parking permit from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., unless otherwise noted by signage.
