About the Event
Ju Percussion Group of Taiwan is one of Asia’s most influential contemporary percussion ensembles, known for its virtuosic fusion of Eastern and Western traditions.
In Energy ∞ Infinite, traditional Asian instruments and techniques meet contemporary forms in a vibrant dialogue of rhythm, movement, and sound.
Celebrating the ensemble’s 40th anniversary, the program features works commissioned by Ju Percussion from composers around the world, including a new piece co-commissioned by the Center for the Arts. With breathtaking precision and physical intensity, the performers transform the stage into a kinetic landscape of sound, where rhythm becomes both language and spectacle.
